This Microneedling training course explores the skin anatomy and function whilst understanding the wound healing process concerning Microneedling and the effects of this treatment on different skin types. Your trainers will address the technicalities of the procedure, and your qualified AET accredited trainers will guide you through the day!
The beginning of the session is spent using interactive presentations to help you understand the treatment in detail and client selection, including pre and post-care. The second half of the day is set aside for practical learning with live models. You will watch your trainer demonstrate the treatment, and then you will perform the procedure on your live model provided by The Beauty Haven Academy .
The principle of action of micro-needling is based on mechanical damage to the skin, followed by a regenerative reaction. Micro-needling causes micro-traumas, which leads to the stimulation of fibroblasts, the release of growth factors, and cell proliferation. The newly formed young collagen fibres, capillaries and elastin are embedded in the dermis without the formation of fibrosis due to the micro-trauma closing within minutes, and scarring of the connective tissue does not occur.
